On March 28, 2024, the Theatre of Indigenous Small Indigenous Peoples of the North in Yakutsk hosted a solemn celebration of Tarabukina Uyandina Platonovna, Honored Teacher of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Excellent Teacher of Public Education, Head Teacher, Methodist Teacher, Teacher of Teachers, holder of the “Civil Valor” insignia, member of the Stepanov-Lamutsky pedagogical dynasty, teacher of the Even language at the V.A. Robbek Berezov National School in Srednekolymsky District. V.A. Robbek of the Srednekolymsky district, a major scientist and methodologist in the field of native languages of small indigenous peoples of the North.
Tarabukina Uyandina Platonovna Tarabukina was born on February 23, 1949 in the village of Selyannakh, Ust–-Yansky district, Yakutia ASSR, in a large family of a young teacher of the Even language, the future famous Even writer Platon Afanasyevich Stepanov-Lamutsky and Evdokia Dmitrievna. His childhood was spent in the village of Sebyan-Kyuyol, Kobyaisky district.
Teacher of elementary classes and Even language and literature. She started her pedagogical career in Berezovsky kindergarten as a teacher. She worked as an educator at the Berezovskiy boarding school, then as an elementary school teacher and a teacher of Even language and literature.
During the period of her work in Berezovskaya secondary general education school of Srednekolymsky district, Tarabukina Uyandina was formed as a teacher of a wide profile, working as a kindergarten and boarding school teacher, elementary school teacher and teacher of Even language and literature. During her years of work at the school, she proved herself as a teacher devoted to her native people and her work. Uyandina Platonovna decorated the Even language and literature room at the school, collected Even literature and literature of the peoples of the North, scientific works of Northern scholars, developed tables on the grammar of the Even language for the elementary class, which were printed and distributed to all Even schools by rotaprint in Yakutsk Republican Institute for Advanced Training of Teachers. Her experience in teaching Even language and literature was spread not only in the republic, but also abroad. She developed tables on entertaining grammar of the Even language, this supplementary manual “Mulgachildyvun” was published by Magadan publishing house in 1991.
Many students of Uyandina Platonovna and Berezovskaya school are teachers of primary grades, native (Even) language and literature, candidates of philological and pedagogical sciences, teachers, graduate students, educators, economists, etc.
Teacher of methodology of teaching Even language and literature. From December 1991 to 2000, she worked at Yakutsk Pedagogical School No. 1 as a teacher of theory and methodology of teaching Even language in primary grades, lectured students on Even language and literature. She has developed a program of teaching methodology of the Even language in the pedagogical school, educational and methodical manual “Even language in tables”. She is the winner of the republican contest “Teacher of the Year - 1993” among the educational institutions of Yakutia. Her students work as educators in Even schools and kindergartens, teachers of primary grades and Even language and literature, teach Even language and literature in higher educational institutions and colleges, and study in postgraduate programs.
As a teacher, Uyandina Platonovna made a certain contribution to the preservation and development of the Even language and culture, to the education of children on the basis of folk pedagogy.
Researcher - author of educational and methodological manuals and compiler of regulatory documents. In 1999, as the head of the laboratory of schools of the peoples of the North, she started working at the Research Institute of National Schools of the Ministry of Education of the Respublic of Sakha (Yakutia), where she develops a system of pedagogical monitoring for the development of communicative competence of Even pupils, methodological manuals for national kindergartens and schools. Tarabukina Uyandina, being a senior researcher of the laboratory of schools of small indigenous peoples of the Institute of National Schools of the Yakutia, made a significant contribution to the creation of model textbooks and the development of draft regulatory documents on the study of the Even language in elementary school. Over the years of her work at the Institute, Uyandina Platonovna developed a draft State Standard, methodological manuals on the Even language for national kindergartens and schools, and a draft program “Even language in elementary school”.
Worked as editor-in-chief of the scientific and methodological journal "Tatkachiruk". From 2006 to 2015, under the leadership of Tarabukina Uyandina, the scientific and methodological journal for teachers, educators of educational institutions of indigenous small peoples of the North of Yakutia “Tatkachiruk” was published.
Member of the Association of Indigenous Small Peoples of the North of Yakutia. Uyandina Platonovna is the daughter of the famous Even writer P.A. Lamutsky. In order to popularize Even fiction and perpetuate the memory of her father, she holds various events among schoolchildren: creative, literary evenings, decades, contests. She published a collection of creative works by students devoted to the life and works of P.A. Lamutsky “Nyunyiyadukamna”. Since 2000 it has been awarding the P.A. Lamutsky Prize to the best teacher. Since 2000, it has been awarding the Lamutsky Prize to the best teacher of Even language and literature. She prepared and published the poem “Namarkartaki dyugarma” for the 85th anniversary of P. Lamutsky.
Member of the Language Policy Council under the Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Tarabukina Uyandina is actively engaged in public activities. Since the establishment of the Language Policy Council under the Head of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), she has been a permanent member of the working commission and has been actively involved in the Council's activities. For many years she was a member of the educational and methodological council of the Ministry of Education of the Sakha Respublic (Yakutia). Uyandina Platonovna develops materials for in-person and extramural competitions in Even language and literature, materials for The State Final Examination (9th grade) and The Unified State Exam (11th grade) in Even language. Throughout her social activity Uyandina Tarabukina attached great importance to the development of native language, ethnic culture, training of specialists from among the indigenous small peoples of the North, was the initiator and consistent organizer of many initiatives to develop and preserve native languages and cultures of the minorities of the North, Siberia and the Far East. As a leader of the public movement of small indigenous peoples of the North, she took an active part in organizing and holding conferences, seminars, round tables of international, Russian and republican levels. Thus, in 2012, she spoke on the issues of state support in the preservation and development of the official languages of small indigenous peoples of the North of Yakutia in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, in 2013 at the round table “State Language Policy of the Russian Federation: Status and Prospects” in the State Duma.
Participation in realization of republican, federal and international projects on education of small indigenous peoples of the North. Together with researchers from the Research Institute of the National School of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the Pedagogical Institute of the Yakutsk State University, she participated in the drafting of the nomadic school of the small peoples of the North, the program for the development of native languages of the indigenous small peoples of the North under the “Language Policy” of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
Uyandina Platonovna was engaged in research of the system of teaching the Even language and development of a modern model of teaching the native language in the conditions of implementation of the federal state educational standards of general education.
She took an active part in realization of republican, federal and international projects on education of indigenous minorities of the North, such as “Nomadic School”, “Teacher of the Arctic”, “Children's Northern Studies”, “Pedagogy of the North” and others.

Currently, Uyandina Platonovna works as a methodologist teacher at the V.A. Robbek Berezovskaya National School. Since the 2015-2016 academic year, she has been actively introduced into the work of the school. In order to implement the system of teaching the Even language and the modern model of teaching the native language in the conditions of implementation of the federal state educational standards of general education, the working group, where Uyandina Platonovna participated, developed the project “Ethnopark World of Even”.
Many of her students consider Uyandina Platonovna as their teacher and mentor, and she works together with some of them in her native Berezovskaya school. She works under the guidance of her student school director V.I. Imeeva. Her nephews representatives of the dynasty Radion Stepanovich, Ayanessa Alexandrovna, her pupils Anastasia Ivanovna Sadovnikova, Galina Gavrilovna Balaganchik, Raisa Ivanovna Novozhilova, Kirill Semenovich Khabarovsky work side by side with her. They are excellent educators of the Yakutia, holders of the sign “Honorary Worker of Education and Enlightenment of the Russian Federation”, the medal of academician V.A. Robbek, the family award of teacher, writer Platon Afanasyevich Stepanov-Lamutsky, have awards of the head of district “I give my heart to children”, etc.
Developing Even language and ethnic culture under the leadership of Uyandina Platonovna various regional and republican events among schoolchildren are organized: scientific and practical conferences, decades, contests, academic competitions, etc.
She held interregional scientific and methodological conference “Modern native language lesson: traditional and innovative approaches”, seminar on continuity “Development of children's speech in the conditions of implementation of the Federal Educational Standard” for elementary school teachers and educators of preschool “Ekechan”. She took an active part in organizing a short-term professional development course on an additional professional program “Modern lesson in the conditions of the implementation of the FES of the new generation”.
Uyandina Platonovna is the author of more than 13 educational and teaching aids, more than 130 articles and edits, reviews for the press on the Even language.
Uyandina Platonovna is a member of the expert commission on the Even language of the annual international contest “Language of the Ancestors”, republican contests on Even language, literature and culture, interregional distance pedagogical readings of teachers of native Even language and literature of national Even schools. Member of the Association of Indigenous Minorities of the North, the Association of Teachers of Native Languages of the Russian Federation.
She is a delegate of the I, II and V Congress of Evenes of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), IV and V Congress of Evenes of the Russian Federation, VII All-Russian Congress of Indigenous Peoples of the North, Siberia, Far East of the Russian Federation in Salekhard, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District.

The jubilee event was held in a warm and cordial atmosphere. On that day, Uyandina Platonovna was awarded a Certificate of Merit of the State Assembly (Il Tumen) of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and a Letter of Gratitude from the Ministry of Arctic Development and Northern Peoples' Affairs of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). At the solemn event Uyandina Platonovna was presented with deserved departmental awards: “Teacher-Mentor” of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Badge of Honor “For Contribution to the Preservation and Development of Native Languages in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)” of the Ministry of External Relations and Peoples' Affairs of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Ministry of External Relations and Peoples' Affairs of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The Associations of Indigenous Minorities of the North Siberia and Far East of Russian Federation awarded the Certificate of Honor. Institute of Education Development and Professional Development named after S.N. Donskoy II. awarded her with the medal ‘Methodist of Yakutia’.
