Exhibition of masters of Taymyr "Unity of skill and style"
On October 1, the opening of the exhibition of masters of the Taymyr Dolgano-Nenetsky Municipal District of the Krasnoyarsk Krai "Unity of Skill and Style" took place in the Gallery of National Cultures of the A.E. Kulakovsky Peoples' Friendship House. The exhibition is part of the social project "From Yenisey to Anabar" and will run until October 5th. The opening began with welcoming words and thanks, Dolgan songs, a display of ethnic clothing and a presentation by craftsmen.
The exhibition organizers are the Taymyr House of Folk Art, the Dudinka City Folk Art Center, and the Khatanga Village Folk Art Center Cultural and Leisure Complex.

Amazing works by 15 craftsmen from Taymyr and 3 craftsmen from the Anabar National (Dolgan-Evenki) ulus of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) were presented at an event dedicated to the meeting of the Dolgan people from Taymyr and Yakutia. The guests will find products made of bones, tusks, horns, national clothes sewn by craftsmen, murals and jewelry made of beads based on folk motifs.
The exhibition presents the works of bone cutters from Taymyr: Porotov Andrey Arkadyevich, Simakov Fedor Alekseevich, Falkov Maxim Semenovich, Kudryakov Nikolay Sergeevich, Portnyagin Mikhail Prokopievich, Kirghizov Nikolay Olegovich, Chuprin Dimitry Vasilyevich, Kirghizov Nikolay Mikhailovich.
National clothes, ornaments, wall panels and accessories of the following craftsmen were also exhibited: Bettu Maria Nikolaevna, Spiridonova Marianna Alexandrovna, Spiridonova Maria Alexandrovna, Abdykalykova Lyudmila Toktogulovna, Smirnova Galina Yuryevna, Popova Svetlana Alexandrovna.
