Photos of exhibits from the exhibition of masters of Taymyr "Unity of skill and style"

As part of the social project "From the Yenisey to the Anabar", the Taymyr House of Folk Art, the Dudinka City Folk Art Center, and the Khatanga Village Folk Art Center organized an exhibition of Taimyr craftsmen engaged in bone-cutting, beadwork, and sewing in the Gallery of National Cultures of the Kulakovsky Peoples' Friendship House in Yakutsk. The works are inspired by native expanses of the Taymyr, native culture and values of the masters.

Along with the works of Taymyr craftsmen, a craftswoman from the Anabar national (Dolgan-Evenki) ulus of Yakutia, Dolgan Spiridonova Diana, presented a collection of clothes for women and men inspired by her native northern culture. The gallery exhibits traditional clothing of the indigenous peoples of Taymyr such as Dolgans, Nenets, Evenks, as well as stylized dresses. The clothes were sewn by Zakharova Sofia Konstantinovna, Darianova Athena Nikolaevna, Popova Svetlana Alexandrovna, Spiridonova Maria Alexandrovna, Abdykalykova Lyudmila Toktogulovna, Bettu Maria Nikolaevna, Spiridonova Marianna Alexandrovna.

The north is famous for talented people, and bone-cutting is flourishing in Taymyr. The Dudinka City Folk Art Center exhibited works by the following artists: Porotov Andrey Arkadyevich, Simakov Fedor Alekseevich, Falkov Maxim Semenovich, Kudryakov Nikolai Sergeevich, Portnyagin Mikhail Prokopievich, Kirghizov Nikolay Olegovich, Chuprin Dimitry Vasiliyevich, Kirghizov Nikolay Mikhaylovich. The products are made from mammoth tusks, deer antlers, wood, deer hooves, musk ox horns.
