Evenki folk song performed by an Uchur Evenk

   Borisova Raisa Yakovlevna, Buta clan, was born on November 15, 1932 in the village of Gonam, Aldan district, Yakut ASSR.

   Performer of folk songs and round dance chants. She spoke Evenki, Yakut and Russian.

   The chants of the Uchur Evenki of the Buta clan begin with a double repetition of the word "eyan" - a flow that is distinguished by its protracted tone:

Эян-эян ноноптылбар дялдадямэр
Ноноптыткар эвэнкиткар
Колкостулэ нулгиктанэл
Эмэвсэкэр колхос овчал
