On December 20, 2023, a presentation of projects implemented under the State Program of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) "Preservation and development of state and official languages in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)" took place. The event was chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Sergey V. Mestnikov, Head of the Department for Language Development of the Administration of the Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Zhirkova Rimma Romanovna and experts of the State Program.

  The event was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Relations and Peoples' Affairs of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the "Kulakovsky Peoples' Friendship House".

  The event began with the awarding of the winners of the republican competition of projects aimed at digitalization, preservation of linguistic, literary and cultural heritage "Native language is the heritage of peoples".

  Reports on 22 projects completed in 2023 under the State Program of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) "Preservation and development of state and official languages in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)" were heard.

  Among the major performers can be distinguished Institute for Humanitarian Research and North Indigenous People Problems of Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, National TV Channel "Sakha", A.E.Kulakovsky House of Friendship of Peoples, National Library of Republic Sakha (Yakutia)", Olonkho Theater, P.A.Oyunsky Sakha Academic Theater, S.N.Donskoy-II Institute for the Development of Education and Advanced Training, Sakhapechat, N.E.Mordinov - Amma Achchygiya Children's Publishing House "Keskil" and others.

   Chairman of UNESCO Chair of the M.K. Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University, A.V. Jozhikov, presented a report on the project "Provision of services for organizing expeditions to the places of residence of the northern small-numbered indigenous peoples", as well as the development of other materials within the framework of the international project "Digitalization of the linguistic and cultural heritage of the indigenous peoples of the Arctic". The report was presented with a colorful presentation with specific data on the work performed.  In general, all reports were accepted. The event ended with a collective photographing of the project performers.
